WHS - Multimedia Usage

It is important to keep yourself and everybody around you safe at all times, but using multimedia has specific considerations.  We have the following guidelines to keep our members and staff safe:

💻.    Ensure equipment used is regularly checked

💻    Visually inspect equipment before use for any noticeable damage or faults. If any fault or damage is seen, isolate the equipment immediately and report said damage for a professional to assess and make appropriate action

💻    Do not have any liquid around electrical items 

💻    Use trolleys to carry heavy multimedia equipment

💻    Be careful when handling multimedia equipment and avoid twisting the back when lifting

💻    Ensure the workstation is at correct height for proper body posture

💻   Limit your time at the screen and take regular breaks
